Henry A. McCormick

Henry A. McCormick, 76 of Ambler PA., died Suddenly Thursday in the Doylestown Hospital Doylestown, PA.

Born in Philadelphia, PA. (4-15-1928) he was the son of the late Henry and the late Elizabeth (nee Carstairs) McCormick.

He served in the US Navy Veteran of WWII serving from from 7-7-1945 to 4-13-1949.

He was a Laborer, employed by the former Allen Wood Steel in Conshohocken, PA for 28 years, Kunkin Steel in Telford, Pa. for 10 years and for the past 10 years he was a delivery person for B&I Auto Supplies in Ft. Washington, PA.

Mr. McCormick was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Ambler, Pa. 

He is survived by his wife Helen M. (nee King) McCormick of Ambler, two sons Henry  McCormick, Jr.  of Lansdale, PA, Thomas E. McCormick of Elkins Park, PA; two daughters Elizabeth A. Rossi of  Beaufort, SC, Helen R. McCormick of Warren Center, PA; six grandchildren, six step grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Ernest  McCormick of Conshohocken, PA and John  McCormick of Conshohocken, PA.

Relatives & Friends are invited to call 9:00 to 10:00 AM Tuesday at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home,1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, with a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph's Church, Ambler.  Interment will be in Gulph Christian Cemetery, West Conshohocken, Pa.
