Margaret
“Peggy” (nee O’Connor) Browne of Philadelphia and formerly of
Mattison House, Ambler died Sunday, December 21st in the Holy
Family Home for the Aged run by the Little Sisters of the Poor.
Born in Ireland, she was the daughter of the late John and
Bridget (nee Kelly) O'Connor. She was preceded in death by her
husband Richard Browne in 1971.
She was a Homemaker, a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in
Ambler and a member of the Legion of Mary.
She is survived by her son John R. (Carole) Browne of Holland,
PA. She was also the grandmother of Jennifer (Jamie) Venezia of
Milford, MI and the great-grandmother to JJ and Johnny Venezia.
She is also survived by numerous cousins and nieces in the US
and Ireland.
Friends and relatives are invited to call Monday, December 29th
after 9:00 AM at the Holy Family Home for the Aged Chapel at
5300 Chester Ave. Philadelphia, PA. A Funeral Mass will be
celebrated at 10:00 AM by Rev. Douglas McKay. Interment will be
in St. Mary's Cemetery Cape May, NJ at 2:30 PM, officiated by
Rev. Richard Forbes.

Forest Ave., Ambler, PA. 19002 would be appreciated by the
