Florence S. “Floss” Hufford, 95 formerly of Redeemer Village died Sunday April 11, 2010 in the Chester County Pocopson Home in West Chester.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (nee Bertwistle) Stehle. Mrs. Hufford was preceded in death by her beloved husband William W. Hufford in 1986 and infant daughter Mary Hufford.

She was a Homemaker and a former member of St. Hilary of Poitiers Church in Rydal.
She is survived by her devoted children William W. Hufford, III, and his wife Carol of Philadelphia, Donald J. Hufford and his wife Karen of Media and Judy H. Schmidt and her husband Tom of Kennett Square. She is also survived by grandchildren Elisa Hufford, Dawn Carey, Keith Hufford, Dana Hickman, Andrew Schmidt, Kristin Schmidt, 7 great grandchildren and her sister Mildred DiSandro.

Relatives and friends are invited to call after 9:00 AM Thursday at St. Hilary of Poitiers Church, 820 Susquehanna Rd. Rydal. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Pastor Rev. Kevin P. Murray at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
