Theresa Marie Uvena, a resident of Willow Grove for over 65 years passed away peacefully Sunday, March 7, 2010 6 days short of her 95^th birthday at Willow Lake Assisted Living.

Born in Jeannette, PA she was the daughter of the late George and Rose (nee Yanity) Stabile.  Mrs. Uvena was preceded in death by her beloved husband Frank E. Uvena in 1995.

Mrs. Uvena was a Sales Clerk, employed by Strawbridge’s, and Bonwit Teller in Jenkintown for over 30 years prior to her retirement in 1978.She was a member of St. David’s Church in Willow Grove.

She was the devoted aunt of Judy Nadzady of Willow Grove and Karen N. (John) Gerhard of Ambler and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 9:15 to 10:15 AM on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM by Rev. Msgr. Richard T. Bolger at St. David Church Willow Grove.  Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
